Myrmidon Networks is actively seeking candidates with 8+ years experience in the datacenter and information security areas, preferably with significant architect level consulting experience. We will only consider candidates with substantive real world experience in large scale, complex datacenters or ISPs.

Please note: due to the sensitive nature our work and explicit contract requirements of our clients, we can only hire US citizens and absolutely cannot employ H1B consultants. If you're not a US citizen, don't waste our time. Likewise, if you cannot pass a background investigation (criminal background check in all 50 US states at a minimum and possibly more if the client requires it) and possible drug test (varies by client), don't bother applying. We can't hire you. Period. Sorry about that, but life is full of disappointments.

We have NO entry level positions and are extremely unlikely to have any junior level openings in the foreseeable future. Don't bother us if this is going to be your first job after graduation.

All positions are consultant positions - you will provide consulting expertise (duh!) - with clearly defined deiverables - to our customers on a wide breadth and depth of datacenter issues. You will be expected to conduct yourself appropriately, communicate efficiently, and generate significant amounts of technical documentation for a variety of end users. ALL of our projects are completed on time, within budget and to the specification of our customers. If you can't execute against these expectations, we suggest you look somewhere more suited to your abilities and temperment. Yes, we would fries with that...

A large component of our success is directly attributable to actually listening to our customers to understand their needs and provide them with the best solution possible, given their organizational and budgetary constraints. If you "can't handle people" or a technology snob, don't bother us.
